The National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) is the governmental general insurance company founded in India. It is established in 1906 and since then it is trusted among all the citizen of the country. The company headquartered is in Kolkata and it was nationalized in 1972. This company provides a number of general insurance policies to all the people residing within the country. Every year the NICL recruits the administrative officer for their department.

The National Insurance Company Ltd. disclosed NICL AO notification 2017 for 205 vacancies of the Officers in Scale I cadre from the open market department on 20th March 2017. The NICL AO Recruitment 2017 online registration started from 30th March 2017 and it has been closed on 20th April 2017.

Creative Ability Test (CAT):

This test is conducted by NIFT to judge the intutions skills, power of observations, innovations in development of concepts and design ability of a candidate.

Management ability Test (MAT):

Case Study: This sub-test is based on a situation of an industrial environment.

Logical Ability: This test is to evaluate the ability of a candidate to identify the reason and logics involved in a particular problem.

Situation Test:

Candidate who qualified the written examination are required to undergo a situation test which is a hand-on test to evaluate candidate skills.

Qualification For NIFT:

For Bechelor Program:

  • Candidate must be Passed 12th from a recognized board.
  • Candidate should have 3-4 years diploma from a recognized University or institute.
  • For Bechelor of Fashion Technology, Candidate must be passed 12th in science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Physics) from a recognized board.

For Masters Program:

  • For Master of Design, Candidate must be graduated from a recognized university.
  • For Master of Fassion Management, Candidate must have a graduate degree from a recognized Law College. OR
  • Minimum three years Diploma from NIFT or NID.
  • For Master of Fassion Technology, Candidate must have a degree of B.F.Tech. from NIFT. OR
  • B.E./B.Tech. from a recognized university.
