The National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) is the governmental general insurance company founded in India. It is established in 1906 and since then it is trusted among all the citizen of the country. The company headquartered is in Kolkata and it was nationalized in 1972. This company provides a number of general insurance policies to all the people residing within the country. Every year the NICL recruits the administrative officer for their department.

The National Insurance Company Ltd. disclosed NICL AO notification 2017 for 205 vacancies of the Officers in Scale I cadre from the open market department on 20th March 2017. The NICL AO Recruitment 2017 online registration started from 30th March 2017 and it has been closed on 20th April 2017.

Common Law Admission Test is conducted by eighteen NAtional Law Universties (NLUs). By qualifying this examination, Candidate secure their addmissions in BA LLB, BSc LLB, BBA LLB, BSW LLB,BCom LLB and LLM Programs.

Eligibility For CLAT:

For Undergraduate Program:

  • Candidate must have 45% in the senior secondary exam (12th) from a recognized board.
  • For SC/ST and Physically Disabled candidate, the percentage criteria is 40 %.
  • Candidate who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April are also eligible for CLAT. 
  • The age limit for this exam is 20 years.
  • For SC/ST and physically disabled candidate, the age limit is 22 years.

Eligibility for Post Graduate Program:

  • Candidate must have 55 % marks in qualifying examination (i.e. L.L.B. or five year integrated L.L.B hons.).
  • For SC/ST and physically disabled candidate, the percentage criteria is 50 %.
  • The candidate must have passed or appeared in the final year examination.
