The scholarship is on a part present form and it provides Fees for three years and for accommodation and living cost for the first year only. It is expected that students to be on fieldwork during the second year and to write the thesis in the third year in their country of origin.
The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and the University of Oxford are jointly funding scholarships for graduate students form IDB member countries. Scholarships are provided in the field of mathematical, physical and life sciences (MPLS), medical sciences and social sciences divisions. This scholarship is not open to candidates applying for Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma courses, part-time courses, non-matriculated courses or to students with deferred entry. The combined IDB-Oxford Clarendon Scholarship will cover 100% of university and college fees and a grant for living expenses.
Equal Education and the Canon Collins Educational and Legal Assistance Trust are offering Canon Collins Equal Education Scholarship for January 2015 program. The scholarship is available for pursuing a master’s or equivalent postgraduate level at a South African university. Master’s scholarship is open for South African resident and Nationals of other African countries are eligible only if they have official refugee status in South Africa.
