A majority of the buildings that collapsed during the Me

A majority of the buildings that collapsed during the Mexico City earthquake of September 19, 1985, were around 20 stories tall. The predominant period of the earthquake ground motion, around 2.0 s, was close to the natural period of vibration of these buildings. Other buildings, of different heights and with different vibrational characteristics, were often found undamaged even though they were located right next to the damaged 20-story buildings. Explain whether the model described in this project provides a possible explanation for these observations. Your argument should be supported by computer simulations and graphs.
